Skilled Cook / Chef (seasonal)

Hourly Wage: $25–$27, based on experience

We are a seasonal destination restaurant with a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. We take pride in serving consistent, high-quality food efficiently, even during our busiest periods. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong kitchen skills, and enjoys being part of a hardworking, team-oriented kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, cooking and plating.
Prepare and serve menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Manage assigned kitchen stations, ensuring they are properly stocked, organized and ready for service.
Follow established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
Properly store, label and rotate food products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Follow kitchen procedures, food safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen throughout each shift.
Work safely and cooperatively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Skills & Qualifications

Experience with standard cooking techniques, including grilling, baking and general food preparation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
Good time management, organization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
Willingness to learn new recipes, procedures and techniques.
A positive attitude, reliability and pride in producing quality food.
Compensation & Eligibility

$24–$26 per hour, depending on experience.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have valid work authorization.
