Job Title: Housekeeper

Wage: $19-22/hour

Job Duties:
Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and public and common areas throughout the resort.
Change bed linens and make beds to hotel standards, ensuring fresh and comfortable accommodations for all guests.
Perform tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and cleaning windows to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
Replenish amenities, empty trash, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards set by the resort.
Report any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns promptly.
Follow and complete assigned cleaning checklists to ensure quality control.
Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
Monitor, replenish, and report inventory levels of cleaning materials and amenities as necessary.
Follow safety protocols and comply with hygiene and cleanliness regulations.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.

Employment requirements/work experience:
No degree, certificate, or diploma required
WHMIS training or willing to get training prior to starting

Additional Requirements:
No experience required—training will be provided.
Will need own transportation to commute to work; no public transport available

Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively, demonstrating initiative and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure they are completed within designated timeframes.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move objects as required.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
