Salary: $27/hour, 40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% vacation paid
Duties and responsibilities:
• Transport Stone countertops to specific job sites
• Install granite or quartz countertops efficiently and professionally, make sure that all seams are tight and fixtures are properly installed, and ensure that they meet company standards.
• Read blueprints and work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
• Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
• Clean up the work site after installation
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as required
• Work in a safe manner that complies with the company’s safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Some secondary school education is required
• 6 to 12 months of experience in polishing, stone finishing and installation experience
• Hardworking, able to work long hours
• Willing to go out of town when needed
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Punctual, reliable, and teamwork-minded
• Attention to detail and willing to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have a valid driver’s license is an asset
• Able to speak Vietnamese is an asset
