Company 0830079 BC and S&S Transport at 19885 12th Ave, Langley, BC, V2Z 1W3 is hiring for their poultry division; Chicken Catchers;  Job Description:
• Catch and remove live Chickens out of the predetermined assigned Poultry Barns
• Ensure that the Catching and removal of all birds from inside the barns including all stray birds on the outside of the barns is done in a safe, timely and humanely manner
• Load chickens into modules/crates
• Be able, under certain conditions to deal directly with customers to meet their expectations and add value to our service
• Ensures compliance with all of the company’s rules, including all of the governmental regulations. Important Information: This position runs only at night.  Work schedule is from 11pm to 8AM or guaranty of 32 hours per week, but it may vary depending on our client’s needs, work days off on rotational basis. Work Location:  Employees will work in different locations throughout Fraser Valley.  We catch birds for mostly our own barns. The Candidates is to remain Drug and Alcohol Free to perform in a safety sensitive functional position.
– Prolonged concentration is required while catching the Chickens to ensure that they are not injured during this process
– Position requires standing intermittently up to 6 hours and it requires sitting 1 hour intervals while traveling to the different Farms. Benefits: We will provide appropriate personal safety equipment for the job.  Transportation will be provided to and from the job site(s). Wages; $20.18 per hour.
