Job Description

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications according to established schedules and instructions.
• Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide mobility assistance as required.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including meals that meet therapeutic or dietary requirements.
• Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support, and accompany the client during routine daily activities as required.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.
• Launder clothing, bed linens and other household items as required.
• Shop for groceries, food and other household supplies.
• Assist the client with maintaining regular daily routines and general well-being.
• Observe the client’s general condition and report any significant changes or concerns to the employer/family.
• Help maintain a safe home environment and provide assistance with routine activities to support the client’s independence and comfort.

Education level: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
