HOURS OF WORK: Varies (2 – 4 hours per week) *
SALARY: $25.77 – $27.00 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits and vacation

The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking skilled and self-motivated workers for auxiliary positions setting up gymnastics equipment and teaching Gymnastics & Trampoline in our recreation programs. Queen’s Park Sportsplex offers progressive skill-based lessons for participants 2.5 years to adults.

If you have the following characteristics and qualifications, we want to hear from you:
• At least 15 years of age
• Experience setting up and moving gymnastics equipment and trampolines
• Experience working with children in a recreation setting
• Strong gymnastics or trampoline background
• Ability to work effectively within a team setting
• Ability to prepare and execute daily lesson plans
• Ability to give written evaluations of students
• Ability to successfully pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Check
• Previous related experience or course work within the field or recreation or teaching experience will be given priority.
*Applicants must be available for Saturday morning equipment set-up.
Candidates will be required to work a variety of shifts including mornings evenings and weekends.
