Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Support Worker to provide in-home care and daily living assistance to an adult client in Fort Fraser, British Columbia. The successful candidate will help maintain the client’s comfort, safety, dignity, and independence while providing high-quality personal care and household support.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide compassionate in-home care, emotional support, and companionship.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Provide bedside and personal care.
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
Administer medications as directed by the employer or healthcare professionals.
Assist with mobility, walking, and regular exercise.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including therapeutic diets.
Assist with feeding when required.
Perform routine household duties including laundry, dishwashing, bed-making, grocery shopping, and general housekeeping.
Shop for food and household supplies.
Accompany the client to medical and personal appointments.
Maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and supportive home environment.

Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
1 year to less than 2 years of related work experience.
English language required.
Valid driver’s licence.

Work Setting
Rural area.
Remote location.
Live-in position.
Room and board provided.
Non-smoking environment.
