We are currently seeking a qualified Residential Cleaner for one of our residential apartment buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Stock and maintain supply room
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
Performing maintenance and repairs to building, common area and vacant/tenant units
Responding to tenant concerns
Assisting the Property Manager in collecting rent
QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with the following systems is required: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building system controls considered an asset
Proven working experience as a cleaner
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety and WHIMIS
Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience:
Residential cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person

Language; English required; additional languages considered an asset.

Education level: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required skills: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing and walking. Weight handling; 30lbs.
