Natural Head Spa YQL is looking for 2 head spa therapists to join our team.

Job Duties:
• Perform head spa treatments including scalp cleansing, scalp massage, deep conditioning, hair steaming, and relaxation therapies.
• Assess clients’ scalp and hair conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
• Shampoo, rinse, and dry clients’ hair as part of head spa services.
• Provide relaxing head, neck, shoulder, and foot massages during treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, spa chairs, sinks, and equipment between appointments.
• Sterilize tools and equipment before and after each use in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare treatment stations with necessary products, towels, and supplies before appointments.
• Inform clients about available spa services, treatment packages, memberships, and promotional offers.
• Recommend home care routines and hair and scalp care products based on clients’ needs.
• Monitor clients’ comfort during treatments and ensure a relaxing and professional spa experience.
• Maintain inventory of treatment supplies and notify management when products need replenishment.
• Promote and up-sell additional treatments, wellness services, and retail products when appropriate.

Qualification and Skills:

• Completion of high school.
• Proven work experience as a Head Spa Therapist, Spa Therapist, Hair Treatment Specialist, or in a similar role for at least 6 months.
• Knowledge of head spa treatments, scalp care techniques, hair washing, scalp massage, and relaxation therapies.
• Familiarity with hair and scalp care products, treatment procedures, and wellness trends. Understanding of sanitation, hygiene, and sterilization standards in a spa or salon environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to create a relaxing and professional client experience.
• Ability to recommend appropriate scalp and hair treatments based on clients’ needs and conditions.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing massage and treatment services.
