Job Duties
• Milk cows
• Detect disease and health problems in livestock, Diagnose livestock health issues, Monitoring animal health, Treat livestock health issues
• Handling animals
• Monitor the calving process
• Formulate feeding program, Perform livestock feeding, Feed and tend animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck, Loader, Manure spreader, Skidsteer, Forklift, Hand tools
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain livestock performance records, Maintain work records and logs
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Perform general farm duties
