Job Description

Selected candidate will be an experienced curry cook who is reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Duties will include:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
• Plan menus;
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance;
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
• Order supplies and equipment;
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
• Work with specialized cooking equipment such as tandoor oven and deep fryer;
• Clean kitchen and work areas;
• Organize and manage buffets and banquets.

Required languages: English

Education level: Completion of high school an asset but not required.

Required skills: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience cooking, specializing in curry and East Indian cuisine.
