Position Description

Position: Siding Installer
Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
No of positions: 1
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Work Location: Various job locations in Delta (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC)

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $37.00 per hour
Overtime and Vacation Pay
Stable & full-time employment

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting side around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.

Job Requirements

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
