Both’s Custom Works near Ponoka, AB. requires 3 full-time Poultry Farm Workers to perform the following duties on their poultry farm:

Location: RR 2/NE-23-44-26-W4 Ponoka, AB T4J 1R2
Salary: $18.34 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Shift, Morning, Night, Day, Weekend
Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Experience an asset
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Broiler and other meat-type chicken production, Chicken farming, Dusty, Noisy, Odours, Wet/damp, Dirty
Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Large workload, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Personal suitability: Team player

Job Duties
• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health, Detect disease and health problems in poultry, Treat livestock health issues
• Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops,
• Track and report on current feed inventory
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Feeding and watering system, Manure handling and storage, Farm truck
• Select livestock for sale
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Perform general farm duties
