Job Description: Visiting Homemaker
Care for 1 disabled child in their home

Note: This is a live – out only position

Specific Skills: Reading text; Writing; Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Job task planning and organizing

Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening

Work experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Post-secondary students/youth, newcomers to Canada and seniors welcome to apply.

Education level: Completion of high school or equivalent

Required skills: Provide full time care and supervision to disabled child; Prepare and serve nutritious meals for disabled child; Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder); Provide companionship for disabled child; Accompany disabled child to medical and/or dental appointments; Assist disabled child in achieving their maximum personal well-being; Assist disabled child with their daily exercises. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
