This Opportunity:
RemovAll Remediation Services Ltd. is an environmental contracting firm based in Victoria, British Columbia, specializing in the professional abatement of hazardous materials and demolition services for residential and commercial properties. RemovAll is looking to hire a permanent full-time Demolition Labourer who can work safely and reliably in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and successfully support our demolition and remediation operations. The ideal candidate will:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Perform pre-operational inspection
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
• Instruct apprentices
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Skills Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school
• Experience an asset
• Certificates, licences and courses: Asbestos abatement training, Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course, CPR Certificate, and Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards Certification
• Experience with reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, grinding machines, chippers, jackhammers, nail guns, drills, sledgehammers and hand tools
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
