We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computer Network Technician to join our team for a full-time, on-site role. In this position, you will be responsible for the health, performance, and security of our entire digital infrastructure, from local workstations to cloud integrations and web servers. This position requires a robust technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining stable, secure day-to-day operations.

Work Location and Compensation
This is a strictly on-site role. All work must be completed at the physical office location, and there is no option for remote or hybrid work. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
Network and Infrastructure Management
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment.
* Coordinate access and use of computer networks, and set up LANs and internet connections.
* Evaluate, install, and upgrade computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
* Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures while maintaining accurate control records.
* Handle basic physical upkeep, such as loading printers with paper and forms.
Security and Continuity
* Implement comprehensive data, software, and hardware security procedures.
* Deploy network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
* Manage robust data backups, web-server backups, and disaster recovery operations.
Web Server and Systems Administration
* Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
* Respond promptly to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers.
* Monitor the performance of all computer systems and networks to ensure maximum uptime.
User and Technical Support
* Provide timely problem-solving services to network users.
* Collaborate with development and project teams using Agile methodologies like Scrum.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
* A Bachelor’s degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism, Computer Software Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 5 years or more of professional experience in network administration and IT support.
Certifications and Credentials
* Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
* Microsoft SQL Certification.
Technical Proficiency
* Operating Systems and Core Infrastructure: MS Windows, MS Exchange, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Security: Advanced knowledge of firewall deployment and security software.
* Programming and Scripting: Python, PHP, JavaScript, and familiarity with JVM (Java Virtual Machine).
* Enterprise Software and Tools: SAP (including FI/CO, HR, MM, and SD modules), Atlassian Confluence, and Jira.
* Specialized Areas: Deep knowledge of networks, communications systems, technical support, hardware development, and website creation/management software.
Personal Suitability
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in documentation and systems tracking.
* A strong client focus with the ability to support users calmly and effectively.
* A collaborative team player who also demonstrates individual initiative and deep dedication to their work.
