HIRING: Family Caregiver — Etobicoke, ON

Our family is looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver to support a family member with a disability in our home. This is a meaningful role for someone who truly cares.

Location: Etobicoke, ON — M8V 0B6
Work Setting: In employer’s/client’s home — ON SITE ONLY (no remote option)
Pay: $21.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours per week — Permanent, Full Time
Start Date: As soon as possible

LANGUAGE
• English

EDUCATION
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE
• 1 year to less than 2 years of caregiving experience

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Assist with regular exercise (e.g. walking)
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Provide personal care
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Valid First Aid Certificate

SECURITY & SAFETY:
• Criminal record check required

TRANSPORTATION:
• Own transportation required
• Valid driver’s licence required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Physically demanding role
• Bending, crouching, and kneeling required
• Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
