Job Description

The Toxicology Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of toxicology, pharmacology, and safety assessment studies in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and applicable regulatory guidelines. This role combines scientific expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high-quality study delivery, team performance, and operational efficiency.

Required languages: English

Education level: College or University degree in Animal Science / Animal Husbandry or equivalent scientific training.

Required skills: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a GLP research environment. • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a trainer in a CRO environment. • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience working with primates • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including contribution to study reports, deviation documentation, and cross departmental coordination with study directors, veterinary staff and QA. • Hands on experience with laboratory instrumentation, biological sample collection, processing, and chain of custody documentation in a regulated environment. • Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, audit ready raw data and study documentation in compliance with GLP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. • Knowledge of FDA/EMA/OECD guidelines. • Knowledge of MS, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
