We are a family in Vancouver, B.C. seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Childcare Provider-private home to support the daily care needs of our children. The caregiver will provide nurturing, patient, and attentive care in a safe and loving home environment.

Location: Intersection of West 22nd Avenue and Columbia Street Vancouver, BC

Wage: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Duties

·      Deliver care, supervision, and ensure the children’s safety within the employer’s home.

·      Follow and maintain the children’s daily schedule

·      Prepare and provide healthy meals, and snacks as required.

·      Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities that promote development, including reading

·      Observe the children’s physical, emotional, and social progress and communicate updates to the parents.

·      Integrating wellness routines with social skill-building activities.

·      Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized environment for the children.

·      Handle emergency situations appropriately and consistently follow the household’s safety guidelines.

·      Respect and follow the parents’ instructions regarding routines, discipline approaches, health requirements, and developmental goals.

·      Organize and accompany the children to outings, activities, to and from school and appointments.

·      Foster a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment that promotes the children’s comfort, security, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

·      7 months to less than 1 year of childcare experience

·      No degree, certificate, or diploma required

·      Must be reliable, caring, patient, and able to work independently.
