MP Farms Ltd. near Clive, AB. requires 2 full-time Swine Herdsperson to perform the following duties on their pig farm:

Salary: $19.11/hour / 40 to 50 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Weekend, Overtime required
Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Hog and Pig farming, Dusty, Noisy, Odours
Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of Sitting, Standing, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling
Personal suitability: Organized, Team player

Job Duties
• Handling animals; Weaning; Feed and tend animals; Perform livestock feeding
• Monitoring animal health; Treat livestock health issues
• Select livestock for sale
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Perform general farm duties
