We are parents of two children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children, supporting their physical and mental development, and ensuring their well-being while engaging them in fun, constructive activities.

• Job type: Permanent, Full-time
• 30 hours/week
• Salary: $ 21 / hour
• Start date: October 01, 2026
• Work setting: Employer’s home

• Benefit: 4% vacation pay

Job Responsibilities:
• Help parents care for the children in residence.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Bathe, dress, and feed the children.
• Prepare formulas and healthy food for children
• Change diapers for the children.
• Oversee the children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the home.
• Do light housekeeping, such as tidying playrooms and the children’s bedroom.
• Do the children’s laundry and sterilize bottles and toys.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Work Experience: Experience caring for children is an asset
• Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available, or private parking is available.
• A CPR licence is required.
• Criminal Record Check is required.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, patience, repetitive tasks and physically demanding
• Personal Skills: healthy meal preparation, hygiene maintenance, and willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each child.
