Company: D-Lux Wood Shop Inc.

Position: Floor Covering Installers (including tile setters)- 2 Positions

Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent position- 40 hours per week

Location of work: Calgary, AB

Wage: $28.00/hr

Job Duties:
• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Prepare subfloors and install underlayment and underpadding
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Measure, cut and install resilient flooring (vinyl plank, laminate, etc.) using adhesives and tools
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor covering using adhesive, rollers and other hand tools
• Install hardwood floors, such as strip floors, block floors or plank floors, using glue, staples, nails or other means
• To install steps
• Install stair treads, risers and nosing

Education: Secondary School completed

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience as floor covering installer
• Ability to accurately measure, cut and install tile & flooring materials in customer’s home
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
