Position: Kitchen Manager

Experience requirement: 1 year as a Kitchen manager
Education requirement: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $36.00/hour, 32 hours per week.

Job Duties:
• Oversee all kitchen activities during service and ensure food is prepared and plated consistently and on time.
• Coordinate with front staff to keep service smooth.
• Handle issues such as delays, shortages, mistakes during the shift.
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff (cooks, prep workers, dishwashers)
• Create work schedules and manage shifts
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
• Enforce hygiene and sanitation rules, ensure proper food handling and storage
• Follow local health regulations to avoid violations
• Monitor inventory levels, Order ingredients and kitchen supplies
• Monitor food and labor costs, reduce waste and control food costs.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
• Ensure recipes are followed consistently
• Ensure kitchen equipment is working properly
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized
