Job Description

Retail salespersons are responsible for providing excellent customer service, advising customers, and efficiently handling transactions within a retail setting. Their duties and responsibilities include:
Greeting customers and determining how to exceed their expectations.
Replenishing stock on the floor and processing sales transactions.
Operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, recovering merchandise, and cleaning the store.
Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Processing payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
Working in a fast-paced environment and being prepared for weekend, evening, and holiday work.
Reporting to the Store Manager or Sales Manager and maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
These responsibilities are essential for maximizing store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Education level: High School Gradute

Required skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience
