Area of work experience: Supervise and coordinate pet grooming shop, activities of dog groomers and perform the same duties as them.

Job duties

1) Specific skills:
o Schedule work / establish work schedules.
o Supervise staff.
o Supervise, co-ordinate, schedule, and review activities of workers.
o Train staff / workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
o Prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.
o Requisition materials and supplies.
o Handling animals.
o Bathe and shampoo animals.
o Perform animal grooming activities.
o Clip animal nails.
o Clean animal ears.
o Provide customer service.

2) Supervision
o 3 to 4 people.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
o Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
o Standing for extended periods.
o Physically demanding.
o Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

o Pet grooming shop.

Security and safety:
o Criminal record check.

Credentials (asset / not mandatory but nice to have):

o Fear Free Certification.

Work experience:
o 1 to less than 7 months as a supervisor besides work experience as a dog groomer.

Terms of employment: Permanent position, full-time.
o Hours of work: 40 hours per week, flexible hours during the day.
o Terms: On site.
