The Kal is looking for a Full-Time Assistant Manager (NOC 60030)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Job Description:
• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the operations of the restaurant.
• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation standards.
• Ensure food service and quality control standards are consistently met.
• Monitor inventory levels and order food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt and effective resolution.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and daily financial reporting.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste.
• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and promotions.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a relevant/related field
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management; or related experience
• Language in the workplace is English
