Sorrento Village Grocer is looking for a full-time Sushi Chef (NOC 62200) to join our growing team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week. Wage is $25.00/hour with dental and medical insurance benefits.
Job Description:
• Prepare sushi, sashimi, and cook Japanese/Asian dishes and foods
• Cut and prepare fish, seafood, vegetables
• Estimate food requirements, check inventory levels and monitor and order supplies
• Create new sushi dishes or specials
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• Principal set up and break-down of kitchen and cleaning.
• Clean kitchen and work area.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience commercial food preparation
• Must have knowledge of sushi preparation
• Language in the workplace is English
