Hours of work: 30–40 hours per week
Wage: $32.00 (includes $6 ECE wage enhancement)
Benefit: 4% vacation renumeration, Extended health insurance

*Job Duties*
• Plan and implement childcare programs that promote infants’ and toddlers’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Lead age-appropriate experiences such as songs, stories, art and sensory play, music, dramatic play, and movement activities to support early learning.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment that protects children’s security and overall wellbeing.
• Observe and assess each child’s abilities, interests, and needs, and share progress or any concerns with parents or guardians and the staff team.
• Guide children through daily routines and support the development of appropriate eating, dressing, and toileting habits in a respectful, age-appropriate manner.
• Work collaboratively with co-workers and, when applicable, outside service providers involved in supporting children.

*Job Requirements*
– Education: Completion of a two- to four-year college program in early childhood education is required
– Experience: Experience is an asset.
– Others
• Early Childhood Educator License required.
• Infant Toddler Educator Certificate to Practice required.
• Criminal record check, immunization records.
• Reliability, dependability, team player.
