Job Description

JOB DUTIES:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who maintain lawns, gardens, athletic fields, golf courses, cemeteries, parks, interior plantscapes and other landscaped areas.
2. Plan and estimate materials and labour requirements for individual contracts.
3. Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs and hedges and the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways and retaining walls.
4. Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units.
5. Resolve work related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
6. Requisition supplies and materials.
7. Hire staff and train workers in job duties and company policies
8. May manage operations of own company
9. May provide snow removal services during the winter months
10. May perform the same duties as workers supervised

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent employment and full-time (30-40/Hrs per week)

SKILL REQUIREMENTS (Education and Work Experience):
• Education: Completion of high school required
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

WAGE: $34 per hour
