Firstchoice Haircutter is currently looking for an experienced hairstylist to join our team.

Location: 800 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia
Full-time / permanent position with $17-$19 per hour based on experience. We provide healthcare and medical benefits for our employees. It is a full-time position with 30-40 hours per week.

Tasks / Dutieis as a hairstylist:
Advise clients on beauty care treatments
Analyze hair and scalp condition
Book appointments
Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
Provide custom hair and scalp treatment
Shampoo customers’ hair
Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages
Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
Apply hair extensions
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features and preferences

Required languages: English
Cosmetology license required

Required languages: English
