Lovingly Made Ingredients is looking for a Full-Time Accounting Technician (NOC 12200)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $30.00/hour, with benefits.
Job Description:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and client account creation, invoice matching, and payment processing.
• Record and reconcile raw material purchases, ensuring accuracy between purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receiving reports.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and monitor stock levels in coordination with warehouse and production teams.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations for CAD, USD, and GBR accounts.
• Prepare and issue customer invoicing, follow up on overdue accounts, and communicate with sales and insurance teams regarding collections.
• Process payroll by verifying employee hours, updating employee records, and coordinating with payroll service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and food safety standards.
• Assist with document preparation, reporting, and maintaining accurate records for audits and inspections.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of courses in accounting or bookkeeping
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or food production company is an asset
• Proficient in accounting software (Agtech, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with inventory management and payroll processing is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
• Language in the workplace is English
