Cailliau Farms Ltd. near Enchant, AB requires 4 General Farm Workers to perform the following duties

• Main Location: 185010 Twp Rd 144, Enchant, AB T0K 0V0; various locations (SE30-14-18-W4, NW21-14-18-W4, SW11-14-19-W4)
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $18.34 hourly / 40-50 hours per week (Overtime required)
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Weekend,
• Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, Dusty, Odours, Livestock, vegetable (Onions), Sugar beets
Work setting: Rural area
Type of crops: Onions, Sugar Beets
Equipment and machinery experience: Storage and silage system, Tractor, Farm truck, Manure spreader, Tillage equipment, Hand tools
Area of specialization: Beef cattle, Animal husbandry
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload

Job Duties
• Handling, Feed and tend animals (cow/calf operation)
• Monitoring animal health
• Clean and disinfect stables, barns and pens
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops (sugar beets)
• Weeding, harvest and sort onions
• Grade onions
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, and livestock
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment (perform duties related to leafcutter bees)
• Perform general farm duties
