Mekong Restaurant in Kingston ON has an opening for 1 Cook.
Job duties:
• Prepare and cook Vietnamese cuisine.
• Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods like soups, noodles, stocks, meat, etc.
• Ensure quality of food according to Mekong Restaurant recipes and standards
• Determine size portions to control food cost and wastages.
• Instruct and train staff in preparation of dishes when required.
• Maintain kitchen area clean and hygienic at all times
• Follow health and safety and sanitation procedures.
• Clean all kitchen equipment

Qualification and Skills:
• Completion of high school
• At least 2 years work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen setting
• Ability to work with a team efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Can multi-task and perform well under pressure
• Good working knowledge of Vietnamese cooking
