For 40 years. The City of New Westminster Parks and Recreation has an opportunity for energetic self-starters to join its dynamic fitness and wellness team. The successful candidate(s) will work on auxiliary and on-call.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
• Group fitness certification (e.g. BCRPA, Can-fit pro, ACSM) with specific indoor cycling training as an asset.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• The ability to pass and maintain a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Experience in teaching a variety of group fitness class styles is considered an asset.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff and build pleasant and courteous public relations with facility patrons.
• Ability to remain alert and professional while on duty.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to ensure all required awards and certifications remain current.
*Morning time blocks; 6am – 9am, Mid-day time blocks; 11am – 3pm, Evening time blocks; 5pm – 10pm
