Job Title: Sterilization Attendant
Full time: 32 hours/week

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Attendant to support our facility by ensuring instruments, equipment, and work areas are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, hygienic environment and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following clinic protocols
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, proper function, and damage before use
• Package, label, and store sterile instruments and supplies appropriately
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and records
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are consistently followed
• Keep the sterilization and instrument processing areas clean and organized
• Assist with inventory by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
• Support dental staff by ensuring instruments are ready and available for procedures

Work Environment

This position may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat, and sterilization equipment. Proper training and protective equipment will be provided.
