Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 4+ years of experience

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, willing to travel regularly.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, ability to work independently.

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, noisy, at heights, dusty

Required skills: • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. • Take accurate measurements of windows, doors, frames, etc. • Shape and cut materials using hand tools and machinery. • Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, wood screws, nails etc. • Residential window and door renovation including new installation and replacement • Conducting repair work of windows, cabinets, stairs and other wooden fixtures as required • Fabricate and install trim such as doors, windows, moulding and hardware • Prepare and provide cost estimates and material estimates for clients/organization.

Additional skills / Assets: Experience with hand tools and specialized machinery/equipment preferred. Proficiency in common woodworking, ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and blueprints
