– Position: Restaurant Manager (Full-time, Permanent)
– Work location: 5599 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 2GB
– Work Hours: 30 hours per week + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary)
– Wage: $36.6

++Job Duties:
– Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
– Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
– Track revenues to control labour cost
– Monitor staff performance and recruit, train and supervise staff
– Plan and organize daily operations
– Adjust staff work schedules
– Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
– Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
– Organize and maintain inventory
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations are followed
– Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
– Work with clients for catering arrangements or use of facilities
– Provide quality customer service and coordinate events
– Handle and resolve customers’ complaints or concerns

++Requirements:
– Completion of a college in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related
– Minimum 5 years of experience in food preparation or service is required
– Excellent communication skill in English is required
