Job Title: Non-Destructive Inspector (NDT Inspector)
Job Duties:
• Transport, set up, and calibrate non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure product quality and detect defects using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiographic, eddy current, and liquid penetrant methods
• Interpret readings, radiographs, and digital outputs to determine material conformity
• Prepare, record, and report inspection results in accordance with company QA/QC systems and applicable standards
• Establish and maintain NDT techniques to ensure compliance with safety and technical regulations
• Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement activities
Terms of Employment: Full-time (with the number of hours between 40 to 45 hours a week), permanent position; expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Compensation and Benefits:
o Hourly Wage: $33.76 – $37.98 per hour (based on experience and qualifications; incremental increases may apply based on performance review and certification level)

Skills and Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Post-secondary training in a related technical discipline such as mechanical engineering, materials technology, or applied science is an asset.
• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) or quality inspection within industrial, marine, or fabrication environments is required.
• Experience performing ultrasonic (UT), magnetic-particle (MT), dye-penetrant (PT), or radiographic (RT) testing in accordance with CSA W178.2 or CGSB standards is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of formal training and hands-on experience will be considered.
• Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT) – CSA W178.2 or equivalent, Level II minimum – is required. This certification authorizes independent performance and interpretation of NDT, including equipment setup, method selection, evaluation of indications, and preparation of official inspection reports.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and safe-work practices in industrial or marine environments.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and compliance with inspection procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to company policies and quality standards.
