Job Description
Honda Fort St John is looking for an Apprentice Small Engine/Motocycle Mechanic. The ideal candidate would have a good basic mechanical understanding a strong worth ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independtly and in a team environment. Previous mechanical experience preferred, but not necessary. Being reliable, taking intiativate and being accountable for your work is very important. Ideally the candidate would take the Motorcycle/Small Engine Mechanic course at either BCIT or Northwestern Polytechnic and Honda Fort St John would help put them through their apprenticeship.
Job Tasks and Responsibilties:
Perform PDI’s on new units
Install Accessories
Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of work performed
Keep up to date with training
Maintaing shop cleanliness
Assisting/performing snow removal in winter
Helping in other ways around dealership as requested.
