Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 4+ years of experience in a food preparation setting

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required

Required skills: • Create, Develop and Plan innovative menus, including seasonal menu changes using available ingredients • Schedule kitchen staff efficiently, meeting both production and budget needs • Estimate food requirements and costs • Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks • Oversee food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes • Order ingredients, ensuring they are fresh and meet quality standards • Oversee and supervise other kitchen staff including, but not limited to sous-chefs, cooks and kitchen attendants • Prepare and cook food • Knowledge of safe food handling procedures

Additional skills / Assets: Food preparation experience, knowledge of provincial food handling regulations, creative skills for creating and planning menus, knowledge in smoking food or operating a smoker may be an asset
