Job Description

The Home Renovator will plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of a company engaged in the renovation of residential homes. The manager will oversee renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage renovation projects for residential properties.

Prepare bids, cost estimates, and project proposals for home renovation work.

Consult with clients, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and design changes.

Select, hire, and supervise trade subcontractors such as electricians, plumbers, painters, and carpenters.

Develop work schedules and coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion.

Inspect and monitor work performed to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with building codes and plans.

Source and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure reliable and cost-effective project execution.

Implement marketing and advertising strategies to promote the company’s renovation services.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve invoices for materials and subcontracted work.

Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining strong communication throughout the renovation process.

May perform hands-on renovation or carpentry work as needed during project execution.

Employment Requirements:

Extensive experience in the home construction or renovation industry, including supervisory or project management experience.

Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, and building codes.

Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Required languages: English, Hindi, Urdu, Marwadi

Education level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
