We are a busy family with two working parents and two children, aged 13 and 5, seeking two compassionate and reliable Home Support Workers to join our household in Surrey, BC. Due to our demanding work schedules, we need assistance to ensure our children are well cared for and our home runs smoothly.

Wage: $23.00 / hour CAD, 35 hours / week
Overtime wage: $34.50/ hour CAD, when work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week.

Job Duties:
• Provide care, supervision, and companionship for our 13-year-old and 5-year-old children, including engaging them in age-appropriate activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary preferences or requirements. Assist with feeding the younger child as needed.
• Support the children with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and dressing, particularly for the 5-year-old, while encouraging independence in the 13-year-old.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up common areas to maintain a clean and organized home.
• Assist with school drop-offs, pick-ups, and coordination of after-school activities for the children, as needed, to support our busy schedules.

Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school education.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English to communicate effectively with the family.
• Experience in childcare or home support is an asset but not mandatory.
• A caring, patient, and reliable personality with a genuine interest in supporting children and families.
