Job details:

Salary: $37.00/ hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist the General Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating daily restaurant operations to meet financial, service, and quality objectives.
• Manage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Dairy Queen standards for food quality, speed of service, and customer satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor company policies, PRIDE systems, food safety practices, and health and sanitation standards.
• Participate in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting by monitoring sales, labor costs, and inventory levels; take corrective actions where required.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluation of staff; recommend promotions and staffing adjustments.
• Supervise and motivate team members, maintaining a positive work environment that promotes cooperation, efficiency, and employee retention.
• Ensure adherence to cash control and security procedures; review shift reports and financial summaries.
• Address escalated customer concerns professionally to maintain loyalty and repeat business.
• Assist in developing and executing local store marketing activities, seasonal promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing compliance with ServSafe®, occupational health, and food handling regulations.
