Title of position: Personal support worker – Priscilla W.

The candidate is to care for a disabled person.

Duties:
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., stretching
• Change non-sterile dressings
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Mend closing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Provide personal care
• Perform other duties related to personal care

Work conditions and physical capabilities
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Repetitive tasks

Terms of employment: min of 40 hours/week, permanent, full-time, early mornings, evenings, shift, flexible hours, nights, weekends

Wages: 16.43 to 18.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate /Completion of high school, or equivalent
Work experience required: experience is an asset, training will be provided
Language required to do the work: English

A criminal record check will be required
