Job Description

We’re hiring a full-time Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at KochWilson & Co. LTD located at 1801 Shawson Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W1T9. Working closely with the Manager, you’ll help plan and coordinate daily transportation activities, ensure smooth logistics operations, and collaborate with team members to meet service and delivery goals. Your role will be key in maintaining efficiency, solving issues proactively, and keeping our transportation workflow running seamlessly.

Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years

On site:
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks:
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Track and complete work orders
• Prepare and submit reports
• Arrange for maintenance and repair work
• Maintain work records and logs
• Provide customer service
• Arrange training for staff
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
• Follow-up on issues with work orders
• Keep track of shipments
• Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
• Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
• Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
• Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
• Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
